Slim? Sluw zeker !

Wat gaat hij daar doen? Is daar iets te doen? As the Psalmist (146: 3) warns: “Put not your trust in the act of promising, nor in the son of man, from whom there comes no salvation.”http://www.haaretz.com/opinion/.premium-1.790396

The One-State Solution' http://www.nytimes.com/1999/01/10/magazine/the-one-state-solution.html

I Eretz Israel

Israeli Justice Minister Slams White House Map Of Israel As Ignorant
Israeli Justice Minister Ayelet slammed U.S. ignorance and vowed to ensure Palestinians never get a state.
With President Trump’s visit already riling several other members of Israel’s far-right government related to whether the Western Wall, which Israel captured militarily in 1967, is occupied, Israeli Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked found a new reason to be outraged, the map of Israel that the White House has been circulating ahead of Trump’s trip.
The White House map is accurate, and that’s the problem from Shaked’s perspective, as she was expecting the White House map to recognize all of the occupied territories, every scrap of the West Bank and the Golan Heights, as Israeli territory.
That the White House didn’t do this, because they had literally no reason to have been expected to do this, Shaked said she hoped this was just a matter of US “ignorance” and not an expression of US policy recognizing Israel’s actual map as the extent of Israel’s territory.

II De Anti-Terreur proeftuin
Jeff Halper‎‎; born 1946 is an American-born anthropologist, author, lecturer, and political activist who has lived in Israel since 1973. He is a co-founder of The People Yes! Network (TPYN) and the former Director of the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD).

The Occupation represents a resource in two senses: economically, it provides a testing ground for the development of weapons, security systems, models of population control and tactics without which Israel would be unable to compete in the international arms and security markets, but not less important, being a major military power serving other militaries and security services the world over lends Israel an international status among the global hegemons it would not have otherwise.

I noticed that Israel has diplomatic relations with 157 countries, and virtually all the agreements and protocols Israel has signed with them contain military and security components. From those tiny threads, it dawned on me that when military relations are mixed into diplomatic stew, new, surprising and seemingly impossible constellations emerge.
Israel it seemed was succeeding in parlaying its military and securocratic prowess into political clout, in pursuing what I now call security politics. The Occupied Palestinian Territories, I now understood, did not pose a financial burden on Israel or an unwanted source of insecurity and conflict. Indeed, the opposite was the case. Without an occupation and an interminable conflict, how would Israel sustain its strong international standard?

-The Real News Network
Number six on the list of weapon exporters is Israel. Israel may be the sixth weapon exporter in the world, but it is the largest arms exporter in per capita terms. Indeed, while the U.S. has the largest military-industrial complex in the world, Israel has the largest proportion of its economy dedicated to the military-industrial complex.

III Israëls  Burgeroorlog en Demografie

An Israeli civil war is inevitable
http://www.haaretz.com/opinion/.premium-1.786554
On Israel’s 69th Independence Day, the public is divided into two camps with no common ground. The annexation advocates want to perpetuate the occupation, annex the territories, deny the Palestinians who live there equal civil rights and strengthen the country’s Jewish character at the expense of its democratic character. Their vision is apartheid, fascism and God.
The democrats seek an immediate end to the occupation.

Ideologically, it is impossible to reconcile the two camps. Only one can triumph. Israel is now a zero-sum game.

One day, the Palestinians who are subject to an apartheid regime in the annexed territories will revolt. And the Jewish democrats will revolt with them – in the name of democratic ideas that are more important than obeisance to immoral laws in a country that has turned its back on democracy.

Gilad Atzmon in zijn boek The Wandering Who? A Study of Jewish Identity Politics  noemt dat het Pre-Traumatische Stress Syndroom
Pre-Traumatic Stress Syndrome induced by a continual grand narrative of Israeli victimization caused by the Holocaust: being driven into the sea, being wiped off the map, delegitimized, all portend  the impending disaster that awaits the Jewish state.
